Thanks for stopping by our website “Swaggerwithgrace.com”. The idea for the site came after spending the last nine months wondering how someone like me, a woman  with everything, walked away from everything that she valued in hopes of finding herself again. I have to admit that starting over has been a bitch and everything that could go wrong did go wrong. My life has played out like the worst country song you could imagine, in fact I even lost full time custody of my dog!

Sure it would be easy for me to complain about the unfairness of my divorce and everything else that comes along with saying good-bye to the life you had. It would be easy for me to garner much sympathy and kudos for sticking to my beliefs, but in the end I would leave myself open to the same story to playing out in my next relationship. It goes along the lines of the old adage, “Same man, different face.” And since I am a strong believer in learning the deeper lessons in life, I am ready to share these lessons with you.

Although this has been one of the most difficult, painful, and confusing times in my life, I have to admit that I have never felt more alive and ready to see what comes next. I am ready to open myself up to you, in hopes that whatever stage you are at in your life, you will always find the bright spots and learn to move forward instead of back. I have made a million mistakes in my life, but have spent very little time regretting any decisions that I have made along the way. I have a sign posted in my home office that reads “Courage-Not the absence of fear or despair, but the willingness to conquer them.” Life isn’t about  always feeling strong or confident, it is about being scared to death and doing it anyways. It’s about trusting the little annoying voice in the pit of your stomach that has always known what to do, without resorting to your frontal lobe part of your brain for the permission to act.

I can’t guarantee you that this site and what we have to offer will manifest the riches of the world, but I can guarantee that we will give you an opportunity to share in our shortcomings, wins, losses, and embarrassing moments as a way of taking yourself seriously without taking yourself seriously. I can’t tell you what the best answers are for your current situation — but I can teach you how to figure that out for yourself. Everything that you need to know about who you are and who you were meant to be is already within you! It’s a matter of releasing your fears, excuses, and the stories you have created in your mind to keep you in the vicious self-destructive patterns that we all fall into from time to time.

Swagger with grace means learning to walk like you own the whole freaking world, with the assurance that you have a spiritual team of helpers who promise not to let you down. It means trusting that you can never make the wrong choice for yourself if you begin listening to the little voice buried deep within your belly fat. I assure you that when I learned to make decisions from that annoying little voice that won’t go away, I have never been steered off course. In fact, I have had more opportunities to learn, grow, and enhance my own sense of self than I ever thought imaginable.

Don’t get me wrong though, I have hit a million stumbling blocks, and some of those little blips in the road have been beyond mortifying. Needless to say, I have picked myself up and dusted myself off a few thousand times along the way, but in all honestly, I have never felt more free to be me in my entire life. If there is one thing I know for certain: Sometimes you have to give up striving for the life you want, in order to make room for the life that you deserve.
