Swagger with Grace is a safe place for women to talk about the things that matter to them and to find ways to live a good life with spirit and peace.
All kinds of issues and feelings and ideas and opinions can be found here. Swagger writers may “agree to disagree” from time to time. This is part of figuring out for ourselves (with feedback from our readers) what the shape of this safe place on the web should look, feel and sound like.
Yeah, it’s probably pretty obvious by the stories that contributors all come from different generations, influences, biases, cultures, you name it. (Like all the rest of the planet, we all have more in common than we don’t). The issues at Swagger with Grace will change, will be revisited, and will always be a “work in progress”. You can count on one thing to remain constant, though — Swagger with Grace will always be guided by the intention and purpose of being a safe place.
Welcome to Swagger with Grace!
Tania is the creator of Swagger With Grace and the main contributor. In the most unassuming and entirely unique way (and with plenty of good humor and kindness) she demonstrates vision, leadership and inspiration.
Mr.”Text u later” steps out of the shadows to deliver some surprising insights. What are the keys to attracting and keeping love? What are the real measures of compatibility and commitment? Mr. Text u later doesn’t believe in fairy tales and he doesn’t want you to, either.
Ask him anything. Be fearless, because he is.
Shannon maintains this blog. She doesn’t think of it as a job. She does, however, think a lot about jobs and work. She read most of the classic career guide, “What Color is Your Parachute”.
She got so involved with the color part that she nearly forgot the purpose of the parachute — landing in one piece in a place you want to be.
Shannon will be covering work and career issues for Swagger With Grace.
Swagger with grace is blessed with many talented friends. From time to time, there will be treasures to share from guest writers.
Jenn is a mom, business woman, public servant, amateur stand up comedian. She is a Métis and Ukranian woman born and raised in Saskatoon who somehow ended up in Ottawa, and has lived to tell about it. She believes that women need to be empowered to make their own choices in life, and believes no matter how bad a mess is, it is our job to get up and move on.
As they say, progress, not perfection.
As a woman in my mid 30’s, I am just now realizing that my journey is about learning, learning to express myself both personally and professionally. The only thing I know for certain is the process is worth every bump along the way.
My focus could be referred to as concentrating on being honest about change, how painful it can be, even though it is at times motivated by challenge, by pain or by suffering, we all share the human experience of doing the best we can. Relationships are wonderful, and the one we develop with ourselves is the one I want to write about.
